Our theme speaker was Rev. Janet Gear whose research on Hosting the Theological Banquet will be published in June 2022. Her Theological Banquet helps foster language, identity and understanding in our communities of faith. She’s identified five different ways that United Church people tend to express their understanding of God and serving God.
Janet previously served as Vancouver School of Theology’s Professor of Pastoral Theology and is currently the Program Coordinator for Ministry Vocation for the United Church’s Office of Vocation Pastoral Relationship Team.
