For the January 22, 2025 Chinook Winds Region Town Hall, we jumped into our Centennial Year with our Archivist Leanne Templeton and friends to hear historical stories and how we can connect with this history. Her talk included fascinating stories of early missionary Rev. Hedwig Bartling and ideas for celebrating the Centennial in our congregations.
Also, Archive volunteer Gayle Simonson spoke on Emily Spencer Kerby (story below) and volunteer Phyllis Verhaar demonstrated how archive contributions are reviewed.
Presiding Officer Rev. Joanne Anquist led worship at the beginning and end of the Town Hall based on the 1925 Union worship service.
Regional Minister Rev. Dr. Karen Medland was the Town Hall host.
If you missed the live Town Hall, enjoy the recording!
