Leading Through Conflict Workshop: October 27-28, 2023

This conference is for Lay Leaders and Ministry Personnel in the Chinook Winds Regional Council of The United Church of Canada β€” and anyone who wants to learn and gain practices to navigate conflict faithfully and successfully, with Susan Nienaber.

Participants will learn the essential practices and traits of communities of faith, and leaders, that lead to successful navigation of conflict in congregations!

Susan Nienaber has worked with United Church congregations and regions extensively. She knows our context, our polity and our theology. More importantly, she knows how to help communities and leaders learn more about themselves so that they can lead more faithfully and effectively. According to Susan, β€œIn an age of great divisiveness and polarization, I am an eternal optimist. I believe in human and organizational transformation and have devoted my life to walking alongside people who are experiencing enormous change and challenge.”

Susan is a licensed marriage and family therapist, consultant, mediator, ordained clergyperson and District Superintendent in the Minnesota Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. She writes, lectures, and leads training workshops and retreats on managing conflict and change, fostering health and well-being of leaders, and revitalizing organizations.
