International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women: Panel Discussion

Join us as we observe the UN International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. We welcome Indigenous women, social workers and domestic violence prevention specialists as we discuss the ongoing work needed to end violence against women. As a denomination, with our affiliation in the World Council of Churches, we remember the Thursdays in Black campaign, as well as the Moosehide Campaign and other grassroots organizations lifting up the violence against women and the loss of lives as Missing and Murdered Indigenous, Girls and Two Spirit People, as well as strategies to support those in crisis. This is critical work for men to engage with, and as we continue to find inclusion for all those impacted by violence, we invite all to participate. You are invited to join in an Online Panel Discussion for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on Friday, November 25 @ 5 pm MT.

Our Panel includes Social Workers Kandee Alexander and Teresa Snow as well as Men’s Engagement Coordinator Trevor Williams.

Facilitated by Chinook Winds Indigenous Minister Rev. Tony Snow.
