Rendez-vous 2020 is so close, just a couple weeks away! We are so excited to bring everyone together in a new and safe, online format from August 11-14. We are running Rendez-vous 2020 through an app called Whova, which allows us to use pre-recorded video, live streams, Zoom calls, and a variety of social media.
We are not only excited to present a variety of wonderful workshops, speakers, spiritual practice sessions, and home groups— we are also having some of the staple social events that we can’t wait to host.
Game Night! A virtual game night for all to participate in. While it won’t be the same as being gathered around the table for Monopoly when someone flips it, but we will all be together around that virtual table having some good laughs.
Talent Show! We are having an online talent show, which will allow you to showcase any talent. Whether you’re a performer, sports enthusiast, artist, or have a talent uniquely you— this is an event we are so excited to hold. Anyone who wants to participate can, and the best part is that you can pre-record your talent and send it in. This allows everyone who cannot present their talent easily in front of their computer or phone the ability to participate.

Social Dis-Dance! The best pun dance of the decade. We will be hosting an online dance through a livestream. We are preparing music with a DJ and are excited for all of us to participate. Whether it’s you dancing in your room alone, with friends or family in a safe way. This is a way all of us are able to connect through dance.
We cannot wait to see everyone join us for this wonderful event. Registration is open until August 7, and you can register at https://www.uccrendezvous.ca/join-in/. Registration for the online event is free but donations are welcomed!
