What does it mean to be a truly affirming ally? This workshop invites you to go beyond good intentions and explore how we can create more welcoming, inclusive, and supportive spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ and Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer people. Together, we’ll unpack gender, sexuality, pronouns, and common assumptions while exploring the rich diversity of gender and sexuality that existed on Turtle Island long before colonization. We’ll also consider how colonization continues to shape experiences today.
