The Pacific Mountain Region (PMR) is seeking two new members to join our Investment Advisory Council — a volunteer group that provides stewardship and guidance for more than $70 million in investments held in trust to support mission and ministry across our church.
These funds include assets entrusted by both Pacific Mountain Region and Chinook Winds Region, supporting congregations, ministries, and community initiatives across Western Canada.
This is a meaningful opportunity to offer your gifts in financial stewardship to support the life and work of the church today — and into the future. Our investment program helps fund ministry, affordable housing and property initiatives, community outreach, justice efforts, and other mission-driven work across our Regions.
Who We’re Looking For
• Experience or strong interest in investing or financial stewardship
• Leadership grounded in United Church values
• Commitment to ethical, responsible, mission-aligned investing
• Ability to attend four virtual meetings per year (~2 hours each)
You don’t need to be a finance professional — familiarity with investing and a heart for learning and stewardship are what matter most.
