Robin Hope Galey
Robin Hope Galey currently guides Wild Church gatherings and ministers to the people of Diamond Valley United Church. She began preparing for ministry leadership in 2019 after a 20-year career in communications.
Robin earned Master’s degrees in Theology (2021) and Divinity (2023), and wrote a thesis exploring the role of light in theology. She has also studied Buddhism, Yoga, Contemplative Dialogue, Permaculture Design, Respect Education, and lessons that continue to inform her ministry.
She is a mother of four adult children, an occasional custodian of many pets, an unpublished poet, and an advocate for environmental and social justice.
Keith Murray
An advocate and spiritual care provider, Keith has specialized in supporting gender- and sexually-diverse, and marginalized communities across Turtle Island and abroad. Keith graduated with their MDiv in 2024 from Vancouver School of Theology and was a 2023 recipient of the VST Chancellor’s Award.
Keith is thrilled to be wading deep into their call at Knox United Church—the first affirming church in Calgary. Alongside the vibrant community in the heart of the city, Keith is exploring new creative ministry projects, building a better Calgary from the inside out.
Keith Murray (they/them) is an artist called to ministry—or a minister called to creativity! A descendant of settlers along the convergence of the Bow and Elbow rivers in Treaty 7 territory, Keith has spent a life dedicated to community transformation at the confluence of spirituality, social justice, and the arts.
Keith believes we are made in the image of the Creator, created to co-create. They have worked across mediums in the visual and performing arts, engaging in community renewal through the imaginal. Keith’s creative projects have been recognised and exhibited internationally (including the MoMA, NYC, and Kunstinstituut Melly, NL), and they were the first artist-in-residence at Union Theological Seminary, NYC.
