With The United Church of Canada’s General Council set to meet in 2025, this year’s Chinook Winds Regional Gathering 2024 in early May is the time to bring forward proposals you would like to go to General Council. Or, you may have a proposal you’d like to put forward for our own Regional Council.
        Rev. David Pollard is the Business Committee Chair for Chinook Winds Region. At our March Town Hall, David joined Executive Minister Treena Duncan and others to lead the information session on proposals. The recording is below. It begins with worship led by Rev. Joanne Anquist and the proposal education session begins at minute 20.
       Proposals can be brought forward by individual members of the Regional Council, Communities of Faith, Clusters or Networks. The 2024 Proposal Form also contains helpful information.
