Course available for Ministry Supervision

Queen’s College School of Theology and the United Church Office of Vocation offer an on-line certificate in Ministry of Supervision. The Certificate in Ministry of Supervision provides participants with the information and skills to mentor individuals preparing for ministries by modelling pastoral practices, demonstrating congregational leadership and offering spiritual guidance. It equips ordered and lay individuals with the competencies and confidence to engage as supervisors with candidates for ministry.
The course is offered online in 10 scheduled sessions, 2.5 hours. 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time. Sessions will be on Thursdays. First Class is Thursday, September 19, 2019. 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time.
The course can be taken as a credit or non-credit course. It is open to students from any region of Canada or beyond and from any denominational background. Tuition is $187.50 (non credit) and $375 (credit). Please note: In order to become qualified United Church supervisors, participants must complete a practicum that will be arranged after completion of the course. The Faculty are Rev.
