DESCRIPTION:Mondays 7 – 8:30 p.m. Living Spirit Centre – 629-49 Ave SW \nSpring 2026 will focus on a deep transmission of the Centering Prayer lineage teachings. \nCentering Prayer is a receptive method of contemplative silence which deepens our relationship with the Divine. We will root ourselves in Open Mind\, Open Heart by Thomas Keating\, and gather the wisdom and practical advice we need for a profound spiritual journey into silent receptivity and the gradual letting go of the inner architecture that imprisons us in old identities. \nSessions will include instructions on the contemplative journey\, a silent Centering Prayer sit\, and opportunities to share in community about the unfolding of the spiritual journey in each of us. \nEveryone welcome to any or all of these sessions

SUMMARY:Pet Loss Support
DESCRIPTION:The loss of a companion animal can be devastating and is often faced without the avenues for grief support. Pet Loss Support is a group of people led by Teresa Boughen (a retired veterinarian) that offers in-person peer support for pet loss. Meetings held once a month on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. at Living Spirit Centre. Available for anyone who may benefit.

Led by Liz Rees. \nBruce Cockburn as Mystic & Prophet – Saturday\, May 23\, 2026\, 1-4 p.m. \nWe will learn from the beloved Canadian songwriter Bruce Cockburn about mystical depths and prophetic courage. The session will include some Cockburn songs\, interview clips and sharing about what is awakening in us. We will hold an in depth practice of silent Centering Prayer to integrate the beauty and the message of this spiritually gifted artist.
