The International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples’ Day is Wednesday, August 9, 2023, during Banff Indian Days. You’re invited to join Chinook Winds Indigenous Minister Rev. Tony Snow and others for a special event from noon to 2 pm at the Banff Indian Days’ Site on August 9.

At the historic Banff Indian Days, we honour the teachings of the Stoney Nakoda people who have shared the rich tradition of our culture with the newcomers since 1894.
