In our town/ neighbourhood, our church is known for… outreach ministry and wellness.
Our Mission & Vision statement is ….Like Jesus, we seek to live our lives as a part of a vibrant faith community, worshipping God, growing spiritually, embracing all people, ministering in love and offering hope, while working for peace and justice in our world.
Here are some ways we live out our Mission and Vision… providing space for many 12-step groups and for addiction counselling as well as partnering with a local play school and high school.
Another community of faith or community agency partner who we connect with (informally or formally) sharing time and resources, events, and spiritual care is… Freedom Path Society
Some things that we really like and cherish about ourselves as a community of faith are…pastoral care, outreach programs, and music.
The hymns or songs that our community of faith tends to return to again and again are…There is Room For All, Spirit Open my Heart, My Love Colours Outside the Lines, Draw the Circle Wide.
The (usual) benediction that sends us out at the close of Sunday worship is…It Only Takes a Spark.
Two natural features in God’s creation that are near to where we gather are… the Rocky Mountains to the west of us and Nose Hill Park nearby.
