“Though we enter this year with hesitancy and some trepidation, mourning our losses and fearful of what may lie ahead, our task is to move ahead knowing that the path we are travelling is building upon harsh lessons we have learned over the past two years as we shore up a brave optimism: that we are collectively maturing into the society we will need to be in the future.
