Update on Changes to United Church Benefits Plan: Town Hall Recording

 Changes to the United Church Employee Benfits Program was the focus of a recent Joint Town Hall for Chinook Winds and Pacific Mountain Regional Councils on November 17, 2021.

Alan Hall, the National Church’s Executive Officer for Ministry and Employment, was guest speaker. . Allan gave background on recent changes to the United Church’s Benefit Plan.

In late September, The United Church of Canada’s General Council Executive approved closing down the Optional Group Benefits Plan for employees and moving to a redesign of the CORE plan. All United Church employees who work 14 or more hours qualify for the benefits plan.
