The United Church of Canada wishes to remain a constructive part of the Renfrew neighbourhood in Calgary.

The congregation of Renfrew United Church, Calgary has exhausted its resources to maintain a building that has exceeded its lifespan.

An initial round of community engagement took place in early June 2021 as a first step in identifying future directions for the Renfrew United Church property.  

The aim is to identify a way forward that will allow a continued United Church presence in Renfrew that is sustainable for donors and stakeholders.

The United Church continues to work with planning consultants to engage with the Renfrew Community Association and City of Calgary representatives.
